Data shows that 24 listed papermaking companies achieved a total operating revenue of 74.775 billion yuan and a net profit of 344 million yuan in the first three quarters of this year. In the same period last year, 24 companies achieved a total operating revenue of 73.232 billion yuan and a net profit of 2.287 billion yuan. By comparing the two sets of figures, it is not difficult to find that the year-on-year decrease in operating revenue is not large, but the net profit is drastically different, decreasing by 1.943 billion yuan compared to the same period last year, a year-on-year decrease of 84.96%. Among them, 16 companies saw a decline in net profit, with Qingshan Paper, Fujian Nan Paper, and Yuehua Packaging B experiencing a decline of more than 100%.
