Principle: Primarily, the pulp emerges from the pulp box and is evenly spread onto the wire mesh. The wire mesh is supported and driven by the breast roll and couch roll. Below the wire mesh are the water removal boards (before the water line) and the vacuum suction box (after the water line). This section is collectively known as the wire section; then comes the pressing section, which includes several pairs of press rolls for dewatering through squeezing; after pressing comes the drying section, consisting of dozens of drying cylinders. Guide rollers can adjust the size of the felt wrap to control the contact area between the drying cylinders and the wet paper sheet; then comes the sizing roller, usually a pair, generally followed by several pairs of drying cylinders for drying and dewatering; and finally, the calendering roll, the last step. After the top and bottom surfaces are calendered, the paper can be wound into the required finished paper.
Paper Machine Working Principle: A paper pulp water suspension meeting papermaking requirements is formed into paper through processes such as wire mesh dewatering, mechanical pressing dewatering, and drying. A paper machine includes complete processes such as forming, pressing, and drying, three main parts, and is equipped with the necessary finishing, winding, and transmission devices, as well as pulp supply, slurry and white water circulation, vacuum, ventilation and exhaust, broken paper treatment, lubrication, and automatic control auxiliary systems. Paper machine specifications are indicated by the paper width (referred to as web width), wire mesh width, and optimum operating speed. Modern paper machines have web widths up to 11m and operating speeds up to 1000m/min, with paper production reaching hundreds of tons and the entire machine weighing up to thousands of tons and stretching hundreds of meters in length. Generally, smaller paper machines are used in developing countries and for some specialty paper production, with web widths of 1～3m and operating speeds of several tens of meters to 200 meters per minute.
The paper machine directly dries and flattens the pulp. It steams, disinfects, and then cuts to size. Paper machine operation: feeding -- opening the white water pump -- opening the dispersant -- changing the hanging knife -- rolling waste paper adjustment.
